Prysmian Group Turkey Organised A Summer Welcome Party With The Participation Of All Employees

Prysmian Group Turkey brought together all employees from different cities and various positions at a Welcome Summer and Seniority Ceremony in Mudanya factory. While the employees welcomed the summer together, employees with seniority, including Halil Kongur, Chairman and Plant Director of Turkey, were awarded for their long years of service and contributions to the company.

The event, introduced by Prysmian Group Turkey CEO Erkan Aydoğdu took place with the attendance of almost 450 employees. Erkan Aydoğdu took the chance to show a short presentation about the economics results of the previous year and shared the company’s expectations for 2017.

After the presentation, the employees took part in the “Welcome Summer Party”, which was followed by the award ceremony. Of the 450 employees attending the event, 123 who have served the company for 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 years were awarded.

Chairman and Plant Director Halil Kongur was among the three people who were awarded for serving the company for 30 years. After accepting his award, he commented, “I am very proud of being a part of this family for 30 years of my life. As a long-time employee of Prysmian Group Turkey, I have found the opportunity to witness how we achieved great successes together. This family environment within the company has also taken us to a prominent position among the group companies. I wish the entire Prysmian Group Turkey family continued this success and even higher achievements in the years to come.”

Prysmian Group Turkey CEO Erkan Aydoğdu thanked the employees for their contributions to the company mission “Linking Turkey to the Future”, and said, “As a company we continue to grow every day, and strengthen our leading position. Numbers alone don’t make a leader, and I am proud to say that you are the ones that have contributed and always will to our company’s growth. ‘Together we are the heroes’.”
