Prysmian Group’s signature on the biggest high voltage project in the world!

Prysmian Group, the worldwide leader of the cable industry, connects Europe in energy transmission with the high voltage underwater and underground cable connection projects realized in various places in Europe.

Prysmian Group providing sustainable energy transmission, in addition to the two cable corridor projects in Germany, won the tender for the world's largest underground cable project Germany SuedLink Corridor and reinforced its leadership in this field with the 3 biggest underground cabling projects in the world that are worth a total of 1.8 billion Euros.

Prysmian Group, the worldwide leader of energy and telecommunication cable system, has implemented many high voltage projects in many different points of the world throughout its history of over 140 years. The Group proves that it is a reliable business partner in complex turnkey projects as well as its technological superiority and its manufacturing capacity with the activities that it has conducted in Europe recently. 

The biggest underground cabling projects of the world that are worth 1.8 billion Euros 

Following the Piedmont-Savoy connection between Italy and France, the INELFE connection between Spain and France, the ElecLink project passing through the Eurotunnel between France and England and the ALEGrO connection projects between Belgium and Germany, Prysmian Group will sign three new projects in Germany soon. 

The Group will be in charge of the designing, production, installment, assembly, testing and activation of 2GW within the scope of the SuedOstLink which is one of the longest HVDC (High Voltage Direct Current) to be implemented in TenneT region, Germany and of 1GW underground cable system project which will spread to the entire north of the German Corridor within the scope of the A-Nord project. 

In addition to these projects, the Group also won the tender that was initiated for the Germany SuedLink Corridor, the biggest underground cabling project that has been undertaken by the German energy transmission companies TransnetBW GmbH and TenneT and that has ever been designed in the world, proves its leadership position in energy transmission projects with the three Germany DC Corridor projects worth over 1.8 billion Euros in total.
