A project making children happy in Urfa from Türk Prysmian Kablo

Türk Prysmian Kablo, who makes difference with its corporate social responsibility efforts in line with its sustainability vision, gave as a gift coats and winter boots to 168 children in Şanlıurfa, Viranşehir in the scope of its “Happiness Bank” project. Türk Prysmian Kablo employees took part voluntarily in the project which was organized for the third time this year and started with the motto “Sharing is happiness”. In addition to winter clothes, children were provided for their education with stationery, books and various toys. 

Türk Prysmian Kablo, Turkey operation of Prysmian Group worldwide leading company in energy and telecommunication cables industry, implemented this year its Corporate Social Responsibility - Volunteering Project “Happiness Bank”, which started in 2018, with the theme “Don't let children get cold”. Within the scope of this volunteering project, coats, boots, books and stationery equipment were given as a gift to 168 students of Çalıçak Primary Education School in Viranşehir, Şanlıurfa.

Stating that they implemented and traditionalized “Happiness Bank” project with the motto “Sharing is happiness” Cinzia Farisè, CEO of Türk Prysmian Kablo said “Sustainability is one of the most sensitive aspects of Prysmian Group's global vision. Touching our society with our corporate social projects based on volunteering is one of the issues that our company gives priority. I thank all of my colleagues who contributed most sincerely to this precious project which promote our company’s mission ‘Linking Turkey to the Future’”.

Attaching importance to corporate values and stating that they implemented a lot of corporate social responsibility projects in line with these values, Türk Prysmian Human Resources Director Aysun Kalmık said “Since 1964, we have implemented various social responsibility projects in order to contribute our society, our country and education. Since sustainability is included in the DNA of all our activities, our “Happiness Bank” volunteer project was organized for the third time this year. This project is also an indication of the importance we attach to future generations and education. By proceeding our project, we aim to reach more students around Turkey and support them according to their educational needs”
